BANDS!

If you happen to become worn out of the same old music you listen to over and over again, well boy do I have a list for you. During dull moments in class, I tend to jot down a list of bands/duos that I love instead of subject notes, because I have terrible short attention span. Now I'm going to transfer my appalling handwritten list to this blog post to express how much of a band aficionado I am.

(If you click on the band names it will direct you to a youtube or last.fm playlist of their most popular songs. Press Ctrl+F if you wish to find a specific band you would like to search for.)

**THE FOLLOWING LISTS MAY INCLUDE DUOS AND OTHER BANDS MAY BE CLASSIFIED AS BOTH ROCK AND ALTERNATIVE. THEY ARE IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, EXCEPT FOR MY TOP 5's**

I also stumbled upon this website from way back and it helped me discover new music. All you have to do is type in a performer (singer, band, duo, etc.), click on the circle that will appear and expand. The map grows as you continue to expand, then you'll find yourself exploring Youtube or Google to check out the wide variety of music artists.

Also, if you go to youtube.com/disco, you can type in any artist or song; it will show you a playlist of the songs related to what you have searched. That's what I used to direct the band names.

I hope I helped you in finding more music to listen to. This is not a complete list. I would appreciate if you suggest some other bands/artists that you like, so I could check them out as well!!
